I started Animal Welfare Consultations as I became increasingly aware of the need for training of animal shelter and field personnel. Unfortunately, many organizations do not have the funds needed to send staff off-site for training. The cost adds up quickly when you have to pay registration, hotel, meal and transportation expenses for multiple staff.
For many organizations, training is considered a frivolous expenditure but I believe training is essential to having a safe, effective, productive staff. As a Certified Animal Welfare Administrator with almost 30 years experience working with animals, I specialize in training.
